This entry is 10 years late but I just came upon Adam's obituary. His kindness was so genuine that I remember him from my 5th grade class in Monroe. It was hard to make friends if you lived far away from town but Adam was like a kindred spirit. We both liked to draw and play flute in band. He always was the calm in the storm in class and was wise beyond his years. I lost track of him over the years and I am saddened by his passing.

does anyone remember my kind & gentle son?

Adam's Mother and I would like anyone whom reads this to know that Adam was the quiet Son who helped more people, young and old, teenagers and even people who retired. He saved a retired family member by helping that person to get Clean and Sober, and become the loving member of the family everybody remembered. Here is another example, he would call a young man every morning at 6:30 am and ask if he was ready to go to school, if that person said no he was going to sleep in, Adam said I'll be over there in 5 minutes, now get your butt out of bed and get to school. That very same person has told me that Adam, whom he looked up to as a Father and a brother, saved his life and he will always remember Adam for his loving caring. He will be remembered by his family and the one's who really knew him, faults and all, as a loving caring, friend forever man. His mother and I have been blessed by his life, his caring, his loving, his not wanting anything in return. I will love that man forever, until we meet again. We always ended our conversations with the following " I love you man". I love you man.
