DEAR PEGGY,AL AND LAUREN, IT IS HARD TO BELIEVE THAT ADAM HAS BEEN WITH GOD FOR A YEAR.MAY GOD BLESS YOU WITH LOVE AND THE GOOD TIMES YOU SHARED , MAY YOU FIND PEACE.
Blake Borate
November 7, 2008
Peggy, Al & Lauren, your are always in my thoughts and I pray that you find peace. I know this is going to be an especially difficult time of year for you all and I wanted to share this poem with you, because Adam will always be with you.
Do not stand at my grave and weep..
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awake in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft star-shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry..
I am not there. I did not die.
Love, Blake

Adam,
The pain is like an iron coat I can’t take off. I love you Adam more than you would ever know. I miss you more than anything and would do anything for you to be here with us. You had so much going for you and so much to live for. I don’t know one single person that doesn’t love you. I know your looking down on us but you shouldn’t be... your supposed to be here with us. I was supposed to see you graduate and be in your wedding. You were supposed to watch me graduate! Mom and Dad love you so much. Adam, you left footprints on everyone’s heart. I have never known someone who lived life as much as you did. You weren’t afraid of anything. If you wanted something you went out and got it. You lived a full life in such a short time and are a role model for so many. You are amazing and left behind big shoes to fill. I only hope one day I will be half as successful, charming, intelligent, clever, fun-loving, lively, entertaining, and as fearless as you. I have never met someone so strong before in mind body and soul. You loved animals and could make anyone laugh. I have never been so proud to be ‘Fritzy’s little sister.’ I loved to brag about you. I loved the fact that everyone knew you and loved you and would always ask about you and tell me how lucky I was to be your sister. I will always be your biggest fan. Oh Adam, I just hope you know how much you are loved and missed by so many. I am at a loss. I don’t know what to do with out you here. I hate waking up knowing that your not sleeping in the room down the hall or back at Western. The future scares me because I wont have you. I wont have you as my best friend, as my brother, as my guide. I would do absolutely anything to have you back around. I wish I had told you how proud I was of you and how you are my hero and my role model and how I think you are the best thing that could touch anyone’s life. I am honored to be your sister. I felt so privileged whenever anyone would ask if I was Adam Fritz’s little sister. You were so brave, so strong and so... everyone’s everything. I hate this feeling of helplessness. I feel like my heart has been ripped out of my chest. My heart actually hurts at times. I can’t do anything to get you back and I know that and I hate that. You were a good person and should have not had to go through what you did. But I respect you because of it. You were an amazing brother and I cannot wait to see you again. I miss you so much. A part of me is gone forever. You were such a huge part of my life and had an even bigger part in my heart. Everything is so surreal. It is still hard to believe everything that has happened. It is not alright that you are gone. You have been a huge part of my life since the day I was born; there’s never been a day you weren’t there. That awful day that your presence was torn away from me replays in my mind constantly. God created you with all the love in the world. You are Home. And I know when it is my time to go you will be there to greet me in the beautiful Heaven of God. I thank God every day for you, Adam Tyler. Today we celebrate your birthday, but everyday we celebrate your life. There is no good way to end this but I want to let you know that you were the greatest brother anyone could wish for. I love you so much and there will never be a day that I won’t think of you. This isn’t goodbye Adam but instead a see you later. I can’t wait till we can celebrate your birthday together again. I love you infinity of infinities.
Love,
Your little sister <3

Dear Al, Peggy, and Lauren,
It is hard to believe that it has been one month since Adam passed away. I am certain that it has been the hardest month that you have ever endured. I just wanted to say that I continue to pray for all of you. Adam was such a blessing to everyone who knew him, and he will never be forgotten. I sometimes smile just thinking about his infectious laugh - or when he used to light streams of hairspray on fire. :)
Seriously though, I know I am far away at school, but please do not ever hesitate to call if I can be of any help.
God bless,
Dave Schneider

Al, Peggy and Lauren,
Today is the 32nd day since Adam left this world. I know each of you have thought of him every day but I wanted you to know others are also thinking of him every day. It helps me to know that he is at peace and free of pain but I'm sure this does little to lessen your pain and feeling of emptiness. All I can offer is my friendship, thoughts and prayers and to be here whenever you need a friend or someone to talk to.

Dear Peggy, Al and Lauren,
I was shocked to learn of Adam’s death, today, January 16, 2008. My heart goes out to you as you suffer the terrible grief
over Adam’s untimely death. Surely, there is no greater pain in
the universe for parents to lose a child.
As you know, the question of why God has allowed this to happen is beyond our inadequate ability to answer. We do know that God loves unfailingly and is with your son, Adam, as he is in God’s eternal care and keeping.
I was blessed to have known Adam. Please be assured that I will be upholding you in prayer, and stand ready to assist you in any other way that I can. Please feel free to contact me.
With deepest sympathy,
Dr. Jeffrey M. Dire

We sure do miss you, Adam. We had some good memories in the past, but not nearly enough. We'll keep doing our best to help take care of Mom and Dad and Lauren for you. It has been unspeakably difficult without you around. And while none of us are experts on posthumous communication, I sure hope you get to spend time with Grandpa Estil and Grandma Neva.
By the way, Adam, your diploma should be in the mail anyday now. Thus, I expect to see a nice portfolio from you when we meet again.

Adam, I am still in shock you aren’t here. Every time that I learn a new Photoshop trick or finish a design, I’m going to wish you were around so I could share it with you. You had so much more to offer and so much more to share with us. More designs to create, more “after-Thanksgivings-naps” , more Christmas movies, more parties, more fight nights, more gadgets to get, more Apple computers to buy and many more memories for all of us. Adam, you touched many people--and now we only have our memories to keep us, but that will be enough till we see you in glory. I will never forget breaking your computer at Thanksgiving and getting to talk with you about stuff for hours while I fixed it. I thank God for that time now. Tell Grandma and Grandpa hi for Matt, Lauren, Mike & Cheryl & I.
You will be loved & remembered forever.

January 3, 2008
Dear Adam,
I know that during the past few years we did not talk much, but that doesn't mean that I wasn't very grateful to have you in my life. You still made me laugh with your stories and creative ideas. But what I remember most were the closer times we shared as kids. You, Brian, Lauren, and myself had some really fun times. All those games of capture the flag and ghost in the graveyard were the best! Then there were the endless forts and adventures in the woods behind your house. The fun never ended! Whenever our families were together one thing was certain - we would never be bored. :) As the years went by, we became involved in separate schools and activities. Oh, except for cross-crountry. Do you remember those middle school meets? Anyway, though our interests differed, we still saw each other on a semi-regular basis, and you always continued to bring something to the table - almost always a good laugh. :) Adam, you will be dearly missed by so many, especially your loving family. My thoughts and prayers are with you and them everyday. I know that you have found the peace you needed with God and that He has eased your pain. I pray that He will also help ease the pain of your dad, mom, and sister as they continue to mourn your loss. Goodbye Adam, I'll always remember you and miss you.

Adam Tyler - I sit here with a million thoughts and memories of you running through my mind, and I'm just not quite sure where to start or how to express them. You were an incredible person with the ability to make anyone laugh, and you are going to be missed. I still feel like I am going to see you around town on our breaks, and it's going to be difficult. You should know you have an amazing crew of friends and family that love you and miss you. You were the first boy I ever loved and I will never forget you. :) It's been a pleasure growing up with you, and I look forward to seeing you again some day.

To the Fritz Family,
We knew Adam through our daughters, Emily & Ericka. We were so saddened to hear of this tragic news. We know that no words of comfort will help now right now, only faith and time. Time will be the hardest, but it is the one thing that will slowly ease your pain. Don't rush, take all the time you need, as Adam was your precious son & brother. Please know that all of you are in our thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace Adam, you will be greatly missed by your family and friends.

Dearest Peggy,
Words will never be able to express how deeply sorry I am for your devastating loss. After hearing that Adam had passed away I asked God to please take care of you, Al and Lauren. With Gods help your family and friend's will be able to help you get through one day at a time. Peggy, when I was going through a very difficult time in my life you said something to me I will always remember. You told me to, turn my pain over to God and he would help me heal. I know that with your faith in God he will forever help you heal. You always talked about Adam with such love and pride. I can still remember so many funny family stories you shared when we were at Lakewood together. Even through stories Adam always had a way of making people laugh. Whether it was Adam himself or things people knew about him through you, Al and Lauren, he touched the hearts of so many people. Please know that you, Al and Lauren are always in my prayers.
Love,
Traci

Well I guess it is my turn Adam. I start the New Year out without you. I want to say I have always been so proud of you. I want to say it has been a privilage and honor to be your father. You through it all never lost sight of the adventure of living. You through it all never lost sight of liking virtually everything about life-doing just about everything, wasting little or no time complaining or wishing. Few people live life to the fullest. You my son embraced it with both arms. Adam you furnished the meaning of life just by being. IT HAS BEEN AN HONOR TO BE YOUR DAD and I will forever be grateful for the time we had. You may now rest, fore you are with the FATHER now. I Love You always. Dad

I only knew Adam for about a year and a half, but it is amazing to see how much one man can influence so many poeoples lives. Adam lived more in his 22 years than most people do in their whole lives. It was awesome just hearing all of the stories of all of the mischief Adam got into. I feel honored that i had the chance to meet such a special person. Adam will live on in all of our hearts forever, and i look forward to the day that i get to see him again. Adam-
We have been neighbors for years and even though I didnt go to the same highschool we still knew and were friends with some of the same people. I'm sorry I couldnt see you today. We didnt become friends till Spring semester at Western last year, even though it was for a short time, it was still fun. I remember getting to drive your car and your system was so loud I couldnt hear the words to the songs, all I heard was boom boom boom, haha. I played these two songs on your Ipod repeatdly that it annoyed you so bad you couldnt stand them anymore, lol. Sorry about that. And then one day I got a $45 parking ticket and you laughed at me and said you already had so many that they just look for your car now. One morning we started the day at 8:30am and you didnt care because you had no classes that day but I had 3, and then I fell asleep till after 2:30 and I yelled at you saying you were gonna get me kicked out of school and you laughed at me saying I will be okay, so you offered to write a letter to my teachers, lol. You showed off the shirts you made, I got you to watch disney one night and the look on your face was priceless. And I enjoyed listening to you yell out your window to people walking back from the bars. I'll miss seeing you at school, at the union..saying hi, or out on the weekends. You were a great friend to alot of people and I wish I could of gotten to know you longer...I'll Miss You..R.I.P. Adam

Peggy, Al and Lauren,
You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. According to the Lord, Adam's job on earth was finished. I believe the Lord has some special plans for him in Heaven and the Lord knows he needed Adam's special qualities to complete these plans. This will be the hardest thing you will ever go through, but you will make it through with all the love and support of your faith, family and friends. I can't imagine what it must feel like to walk in your shoes right now, but please remember you have a guardian angel named Adam walking beside you for the rest of your life.

Adam- I want to thank you for being my best friend, roommate and most importantly brother. The past year living with you down at school has been the greatest experience of my life. I will never forget the random spontaneous memories of things we did. Every day you brought joy and excitement into our apartment no matter what the circumstances were. Continuing to live at the apartment will be tough knowing that when I wake up every morning you wont be there. I will move forward only by knowing that I have a guardian angel by my side watching my every move. R.I.P. FRITZY

Al, Peggy & Lauren,
It seems in life many of us don't have the answers to why things happen, but what I do know is this. The love within your family has always been so strong and that will help carry you through these difficult times.
. Adam is now in a better place, looking down at his family with a heart full of love and thanks and he is at peace.
You all are in our thoughts and prayers.

Adam:
While you will be deeply missed by your mom, dad, sister, family and friends, it is a source of hope and confidence that you are now with God in Christ Jesus and just as your mom carried you in her womb and rocked you in her arms, and just as your father laid on the trampoline and gazed at the stars with you, and just as your sister loved you proudly God is even now holding you lovingly in His arms, gazing down with you at all of us and loving you as only a mother, father and sister can love.
No more pain, Adam. No more worry.
Thank you for your life and love.

Dear Adam:
“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus…”
Dear Friends and Family:
“I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us…Also, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.”
Dear Adam, Friends and Family:
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?....No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Mr. and Mrs. Fritz, and Lauren,
I want to thank you for raising such a great son. He was one of a kind and I will always miss him.
Adam,
Because of you I will always be known as "Tic Tac" or "Little Skittle" but that is ok with me. Everytime I look at the wolf I will remember you hiding it in weird places just to scare us in the morning. I hope you know how much I cared about you, but I know you do. You always made me so happy and I thank you for that. Rest in peace.
