Indeed, Hursens are a special breed and Adam seems to have epitomized that individuality and work ethic, spiked with humor and an unequivocal quiet deep love of family.

My deepest sympathies to all of you for the loss of Adam. I first heard of his passing yesterday and right away a montage of memories flowed through my mind from Adam's and my time together at Marzolf, middle school, and high school football. Adam may have had his flaws, but deep down he was a good man who put 150% of his heart, body, and soul into everything he did, and was one of (if not) the toughest and funniest people I ever had the privilege of knowing. Adam always had my back, and the world truly is a lesser place without him in it. I pray you all find comfort in this difficult time.
