It saddens me to have heard about Adam. I will always have happy memories of when I was his daycare provider. Matt just said the other day "remember going to Adam's house and walking across the street to the golf course looking for fox?" He life was cut too short but I'm sure God has a plan for him. We'll keep you in our prayers. Have faith and be strong.

Gary and Kris,
Was very saddened to hear about Adam's death. I did not know he was in the Marine Corps and served overseas, but I am so grateful for the sacrifice he made. You must have been very proud of him! I pray for God's gracious hand to comfort you and bring you peace during this difficult time. You were a rock to me when my husband died, I don't know how I would have gotten through it without your compassionate guidance. I pray you have loving friends and family that walk with you through your grief.

The Final Salute
“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another.
This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to Cpl. Adam Jarnagin our Brother in Arms. To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Adam. And to Adam it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for his service in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom and for the ultimate sacrifice he made for his country while serving with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves. No greater love and patriotism is shown than a man lay down his life in service to his country. Adam, you are a brave Marine Warrior and a true Patriot. We bid you a sad farewell. You will be dearly missed from among our ranks. Be at ease. Rest in Peace. Semper Fi!
On behalf of the 1,307 members of Lowe-McFarlane Post 14 of the American Legion in Shreveport, Louisiana, I extend our sympathies and our condolences to Adam’s family and loved ones.

After our visit together on Saturday, my brother and I realized that Adam came from a wonderful, loving family and knew he was loved very much. The many visits at his little memorial by family & friends show that he was important to so many people. Your visit gave US great comfort in knowing all this and that Adam's life was a happy one because of you. God bless you and your family and friends .We are so sorry for your loss. My Dear Jarnagins,
"I was heartbroken to hear of the loss of your precious son and brother. As a former asst. teacher at DMCS child care, I had dear sweet Aaron in my four-year old class. I recall how much he adored his big brother Adam, as younger brothers often do. I am praying that "the perfect love and peace of God, that passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Phil. 4:7
We cannot always know just why some things have to happen, but one day, when everything is sorted out and cleared away, we will. We can ALWAYS trust God. Wait upon Him! I love you.
