Adam Kollar Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 9, 2025.
Adam Kollar, 41, passed away on April 2, 2025, in Midland, Texas. Born on April 2, 1984, in Waterbury, Connecticut, Adam lived a life defined by unwavering love for his family, deep loyalty to friends, and a heart that never hesitated to lift others up-even during his own most difficult moments.

Adam proudly served in the United States Navy as a Petty Officer 2nd Class for five years, stationed in Jacksonville, Florida. His time in the military reflected his steadfast commitment to service and strength of character-qualities that would continue to define him throughout his life.

Above all else, Adam was a devoted father. He cherished every moment spent with his children: Grace (16), Nicholas (7), Scarlett (5), Abigail (3), and Noah (2). Being a father was not just a role for Adam-it was his greatest joy and proudest accomplishment. Whether it was making memories through everyday adventures or simply being present with love and laughter, Adam poured his heart into raising his children with care and devotion and his family was his top priority.

Adam's warmth extended far beyond his immediate family. Adam was the kind of person who could brighten any room with humor and compassion. Known as a rock to those around him, Adam offered comfort without hesitation-a shoulder to lean on and someone who could wipe away tears while bringing out a smile. His ability to make people laugh even on the hardest days was one of his most treasured gifts.

Adam is lovingly remembered by his wife Marissa Kollar, brothers Sam Kollar, Marcus Kollar, and Steven Ash. Adam was preceded in death by his mother Deanna "Dee" Kollar and father William "Billy" Kollar III.

A passionate fan of the New Orleans Saints, Adam found joy and frustration in watching his favorite team-family time that brought excitement and connection into many Sundays shared with his wife and children. Adam was also a children's book author of two books; Career Day and My Army and Me. Writing was a passion of Adams and he excelled at it with his creative mind and imagination.

Adam's legacy is one of love, resilience, and generosity of spirit. His memory lives on in the hearts of those he touched-especially in the lives of the children he adored so deeply.

May Adam's memory bring comfort to all who knew him and serve as a lasting reminder of the power of kindness and unconditional love.
