I´m disheartened after reading about Adam´s passing. He was a very close friend in high school. We were brought together by our mutual friend, Tom Barron. I loved Adam´s wit. He was able to see the humor in a lot of things most of us took too seriously which helped lighten my spirit. I offer my sincerest condolences to Adam and his loved ones.

Very Sad to hear this. Adam was a good guy. We had some great times in band and running together back in the day. Gone far too soon. May his memory be a blessing.

I´m saddened to hear about the passing of my old chum Adam. We were practically inseparable from junior high on through high school. We bonded in junior high and high school band, where Adam played tenor sax and I played clarinet. He had a witheringly dry sense of humor he credited his dad for, and we enjoyed hilarious hijinks at the expense of the dictatorial band instructor. We both became interested in photography and I was amazed at his prowess for producing superb black and white prints in the darkroom. Our love of camping, and of getting free of our parents´ supervision, led us to start taking summer bike-camping trips, first to the southern fork of Long Island, followed by a more ambitious trip to upstate New York (Cooperstown) and finally, with another friend, an 1,100-mile sojourn to Canada and back. We returned to to a hero´s welcome as we rolled our bikes off the PJ ferry....a highlight of my life. Adam was fun-loving with a midwesterner´s sense of practicality that helped keep us out of trouble. We went our separate ways after high school but I never forgot his droll sense of humor - unmatched by any other. May he rest in peace.

Always smiling and good natured, I was fortunate enough to have Adam in my Woodworking courses at ELVHS. To find that he made use of his skill, furthering them to such a greater extent, now makes me smile, once again.
