Adam Sternberg Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 7, 2022.
Adam Sternberg, aged 52, died Feb. 28, 2022, at his home. Adam was born Dec. 7, 1969 in Oakland, CA, and preceded in death by father Duane and brother Daniel Sternberg. Survivors include mother, Sherry, brother Ben, nephew Benjamin of Las Vegas, NV; and his children: Jack Wilson and grandchildren Ryder and Aislyn Wilson of Peru, IN, and Emma and Ryan Sternberg of Las Vegas, NV.

Before moving to his beloved community of Las Vegas, Adam lived in North San Diego County, Oahu, Hawaii, Yokosuka, Japan and Pahrump, NV. He graduated Class of 1988 at Chaparral High School and earned an Associate of Science Degree in 1999 from Pennsylvania State University. Adam worked for a number of years as a member of the Fire Sprinkler Pipefitters Union.

Adam was diagnosed with carcinoma in 2006, undergoing chemotherapy and radiation when he was not fully educated about the benefits of cannabis oil and its ability to cure cancer. In the same year he began to inform and educate other patients who wished to navigate the State's system as safely and quickly as possible. He founded and operated Compassion Nevada Consulting, assisting patients in obtaining medical marijuana licenses and aligning them with resources throughout the city, county and state. He also consulted with cultivators and distribution networks. Adam's goal was to continue growing this resource to support, educate and involve everyone with a need or desire to participate in the industry as it exists and evolves.

Most recently Adam and his partner, Mitchell Harris, formed XTRAX Premiums, preparing to launch medical marijuana products such as Rick Simpson Oil as well as recreational products. His partner and family will continue to further Adam's efforts in their collective venture, sharing his dedication in helping others. He will be sorely missed by everyone he touched.
