Adam Terrazas, 39, of Lamont, California was called home by our Lord Jesus Christ on February 18, 2015 in Lancaster, California.
Visitation will be held at Basham Funeral Care on 3312 Niles St on Sunday, March 1, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00pm with rosary at 7:00pm. A Mass will be held on Monday, March 2, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. Augustine Church in Lamont with Father John Schmoll officiating.
Adam was born in Bakersfield to Manuel and Nellie Terrazas on June 26, 1975. He went to Arvin High School and graduated in 1993. He joined the Bakersfield Police Department Explorers program after graduation from Arvin. He earned a HVACR Certificate from UTI in Phoenix, Arizona in 1995. He worked for various air conditioning companies in the Bakersfield area for 20+ years as a Technician. He enjoyed shooting his 9mm with his son, football (Redskins), basketball (Lakers), and the outdoors (Sequoia, the beach), especially the sunsets at Ventura beach, his favorite spot.
Adam is preceded in death by both sets of his grandparents: Rosendo and Flora Terrazas; Felix and Nellie Orona.
Adam is survived by his parents Manuel and Nellie Terrazas of Lamont; brothers Thomas and Anthony; and his son Adam Jr., daughter Emily and fiance Blanca Hernandez. Pallbearers will be: Adam Jr., Anthony Terrazas, Thomas Terrazas, Matilde Terrazas, Miguel Santillan, and Aaron Zavala. Honorary pallbearers: Manuel Terrazas and Felix Orona Jr.
Adam loved our Lord and Savior, he loved life, he loved his family and many friends, he loved his son and daughter they meant the world to him, and will be greatly missed by all. Adam we love you with all our heart and soul and we will see you real soon and may Jesus bless you until that day.
May you Rest In Peace from your fiance, brothers, parents, daughter and son.
