I would like to send my deepest condolences to all of her family members! As I sit here and ponder over yesteryear, my mind is filled with such fond memories of growing up. I remember the corner and the closeness it represented in our lives growing up. Addie's house was central to that experience of our youth days. The closeness of all the families and everyone was treated basically as one. As years passed this experience became the foundation of our earlier lives. The families were large back then, so hanging out was easy as most of us were of the same age. I remember the grown folks having their parties but we were always taken care of. It didn't matter if you were immediate family or not. I remember many a day she would let mom know what we(me) were up to. LOL I could write a book on those situations/experiences - lol. She didn't say alot but when she did you know you definitely did something you should not have. I remember her smile and her quiet demeanor until she was upset. I am going to miss her and what she represented in my life growing up. I am feeling very confident that she will continue to look over us now as in the past. May you rest in peace and accept your just reward for a service well earned and documented in the big book. God bless and much love!!!

What does one say when you've lost someone who loved you! She was like our mom too! It was always Aunt Addie who said "you better not do that" she was always right. To the family my deepest condolences and prayers go out to you at this time.
