Addie Mae Walker, 96, passed away March 31, 2009 in Cleveland, OH. She was born February 11, 1913 in Dozier, AL. She was the fifth of eleven children born to Hill and Lizzie Viola (Dawson) Mathews. She confessed Jesus as her Lord and Savior at an early age. Addie relocated to Niagara Falls, NY in 1944. In 1945, she met and married the love of her life, Leo Hudson Walker. She worked various jobs in her earlier years as a domestic engineer. She loved cooking, fishing, sewing, quilting and gardening.  She also loved being with her family, and especially her grandchildren.  She leaves to  mourn a daughter, Audrey Terrell (Robert) of Cleveland, OH; two sisters, Rosie B. Smith of Niagara Falls, NY, Cynthia Crittenden of Cleveland, OH; one step-son, Benny Walker of Rochester, NY; five grandchildren, Donald Mathews of Marietta, GA, Stanley Terrell, state of Utah, Keith and Yvonne Terrell of Cleveland, OH, and Rodney Terrell of New Jersey; 10 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Addie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Leo H. Walker; her son, Thomas Mathews; five brothers, Herbert, Marvin, Ezra, Wavley and Willie Mathews; three sisters, Lula M. Elder, Annie Lois Davis and Clara Mae Paylor.Visitation Tuesday 11 AM in the New Jerusalem Revival Center. Funeral to follow at noon. Burial Niagara Falls Memorial Park.
