My love and sympathy to all of you. Adelaide and"Uncle" Lip were such good friends of my parents and Adelaide has always been my role model. My love to you, Florence and all of your beautiful family. With this awful weather, I am afraid I will not see you today. I hope there will be another opportunity. Mary Anne Capeci

My condolences to the family of Adelaide Shull Davis. What a beautiful woman. Our families enjoyed friendships over a couple of generations. Adelaide sweetly shared recollections of my grandfather and grandmother with me over the years. It was always a joy to see her at Richland Place when I visited my mother there. She will be missed, but she has made an impression on all who crossed her path.

Adelaide will be sorely missed. She was my idol. She had a memory like no other and was a great delight to know while I was growing up. She is the true definition of class and grace. She always made you feel welcome in her home and I loved hearing all her stories while growing up and spending summers poolside at the "Davis Country Club". I will always cherish her recipe for homemade mayonnaise she was nice enough to share with me. Heaven has become much brighter with this true angel!!
