Ken, Carol, Phyllis and families: We know you have grand memories. We do too, but what comes to mind just now is how much she loved to talk about how well her family was doing. She was a very proud mom/grandma. Our love to you all.

I'm so sorry to hear of Adele's passing, but glad to see she lived a long life with a loving family! I remember Adele from 30+ years ago when I worked at NOMA. She was a delight to be around, a gracious, kind, smart, good person. I'm grateful to have known her. I don't think I've seen her since my time at NOMA, when I moved to California, but she made a lasting impression on me. Rest in peace, Adele.

Aimee and family,

I felt close to your grandmother through Kate and know that she was a happy and kind spirit. She will not be forgotten and my thoughts are with you as you remember her wonderful life.

New Orleans is the less today because of Adele's passing. She was a consummate lady who always tried to make her community a better place. Adele loved
Life to the fullest and it was a pleasure and an honor to call her a friend. Ken and Be-Be, know that heaven really is a better
Place now that she is in residence. May the angels welcome her into paradise. Much love to your
Family at this time of
Loss. John &

Dear Aimee and Family
I am so saddened by your loss,Although this is the saddest of times, her great joie de vivre will live a long time, forever in your life, and this will be contagious so the sorrow will be followed with such deep fond memories of joyous times. Again Dorian and I send our deepest sympathies and prayers for you and your family.

My deepest sympathy to Ken, Be Be and family. For all the years I knew Adele, I knew we shared many things and interests: physician husbands, a love of travel, cooking, volunteer work to name a few. But, it was not until I read the obituary that I found out that we shared something else-we both had a BS degree in nursing from LSU. Just think of all the lively (and I know they would have been) discussions we could have had about the practice of nursing "then" and "now". Who knows, perhaps we may still have that discussion one day.

Carol,
I am sorry to hear that you have lost your mother. She surely had a full, wonderful life. I clearly remember her from our elementary school years as well as from genealogy meetings. Loss is hard regardless of how long you've had someone. You may know it's their time to go, but it doesn't make the loss easier. Please know you and your family are in my thoughts and my prayers.
