Adeline ‘Lena’ C. Albertini KINGSTON - Adeline “Lena” C. Albertini, 95, a 65 year resident of Lucas Avenue, died Monday, May 4, 2015 at Ten Broeck Commons Nursing Home in Lake Katrine. Born Oct. 10, 1919 in Kingston, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Clara Weider. For 30 years, Lena was employed at Hercules Powder Company in Port Ewen retiring on March 1, 1982. She was a parishioner of Saint Joseph’s Church and bowled in the Women’s Bowling League. Surviving are her daughters, Linda L. Albertini of Kingston, Darlene S. Guido (David Zwack) of Voorheesville, N.Y.; her son, Jules A. Albertini, Jr. (Sherry Riker) of Cottekill; her sisters, Josephine McGowan and Marie Ruzzo both of Kingston; her brother, Peter J. Weider of Glenford, N.Y.; her grandchildren, Salvatore Guido, Jesse Albertini, Victoria Albertini, Jules Albertini, John Polidori, Andrea Nobis, Rachel Prall, Joseph Polidori, Michael Polidori and Anthony Polidori. Ten great-grandchildren, many beloved nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors also survive. Lena’s husband Jules A. Albertini, Sr. died Oct. 30, 2005. Her brother, Michael Weider also died previously. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Joseph V. Leahy Funeral Home, Inc., 27 Smith Avenue, Kingston. www.jvleahyfh.com The Albertini family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. A funeral procession will form 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:30 a.m. at Saint Joseph’s Church. Burial will follow in Saint Mary’s Cemetery.
