ADELINE MARY PILON
Late of Regina, Saskatchewan passed away peacefully on March 31, 2016 at the age of 78 years. Predeceased by husband Vic Pilon and parents Frank and Sophie Flegel. Adeline is survived by children Noel (Peggy) Pilon, Cheryl (Rob) Dinnin, Tim (Marcia) Pilon, Lori-Ann Pilon (Joe) and grandchildren Justin (Adrienne) Pilon, Jenna Pilon (Adam), Devin Pilon. Adeline's greatest pleasures were times enjoyed with her children and grandchildren. All occasions were made special with love and memories. The quiet moments at her cottage, along with going to Roughrider Football games, watching curling or eating a Costco hot dog are how friends and family will remember her. Special thanks to all the staff at the General Hospital. Specifically Terri and Owen in CCU and Janelle in Emergency. Funeral Service will be held at Little Flower Catholic Church, 420 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. with luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in remembrance of Adeline may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre Street, Regina, SK S4P 2R3 or the Sandra Schmirler Foundation, 1660 Vimont Court, Orleans, ON K4A 4J4. So sorry to hear about Adeline's death. Auntie Adeline as I would refer to her as a child was such a sweet lady. I was lucky to have her as a godmother. Unfortunately time has distanced us and I have not seen her since I was a young bride many years ago. Glad to read that she had her children & grandchildren in her life to make her smile. I am sure her and Vic will be watching over all of you.

Certainly I will miss my godmother .. everything seemed so positive the last time we spoke. In her death, my thoughts have reverted to my happy childhood memories that I'd like to share. I recall riding in the back of a pickup .. too many kids along to take to the lake I recall playing in the playhouse in the yard in moosimin I recall uncle Vic at the piano, playing a tune and then laughing I recall the surprised meeting of all my cousins at the campground at Fairmont hot springs.. so many cherished memories ..
