Adella M. Peters

Peters, Adella M., St. Francis Home. Passed away Saturday morning, July 23, 2005 at age 110 years. The former Adella Keenan was born February 7, 1895 in Everett, Washington. She was the fourth of six children born to Anna and James Keenan. They moved to Saginaw when she was eleven. She graduated from St. Mary's High School and worked for the railroad for many years. She moved to Detroit and married Stanley Peters. He predeceased her in 1972. Adella also worked for the city of Detroit for 17 years and moved back to Saginaw in 1994. She attended daily Mass and enjoyed bingo and musical programs offered at the St. Francis Home. She is survived by her nieces and nephews. Commital service will take place on 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2005 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Fr. David L. Parsch will officiate arrangements by the McIntyre Funeral Chapel.
