WUTZKE _ Adolf 1934 - 2006 Adolf Wutzke, beloved husband of Maria Wutzke, of Calgary passed away March 31, 2006 at the age of 71 years. As well as his wife of forty-seven years Maria, he will be dearly missed by their daughter Betty and Edward Cody and their children, Ryan and Rachel of Calgary; two sons, Fred Wutzke of Calgary and Harry and Shelley Wutzke and their two children, Jessica and Noel, all of Prince Albert, SK; five brothers and sisters, Herta Lunsman of Germany, Friedel Schlunzen (Rolf), Alma Kreis (Otto), all of Calgary, Fred Wutzke (Maria) of Strathmore and Elsie Metz (Tony) of St. Catharines, ON; a brother-in-law Joe Zirger (Elizabeth) of Calgary; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Adolf is predeceased by his parents, Adolf and Albertina; three brothers, Waldemar, Edward and Gustaf; and two sisters, Selma and Emma. Adolf was born in Poland and came to Canada as a young man. He was an upholsterer by trade and worked for Tynan Furniture for thirty-eight years until his retirement. Adolf will be remembered for his love of sports, especially hockey, soccer, tennis and golf; and his abilities as a handyman. He was a proud member of the Forest Lawn Community Association, the German Canadian Club and especially the Skat Group of Calgary. Adolf was a great husband, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. The family would like to thank everyone who helped in the care of Adolf with special thanks to Dr. Graham Hunter and his assistants Naomi and Kelly; Dr. Neal Hagan of the Pain Clinic; and Dr. Marr who made Adolf's passage peaceful. Sincere thanks is also extended to the staff of the Peter Lougheed Centre and the Foothills Hospital for your help, hard work and caring. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, April 6 at 11:00 a.m. at Emmanuel Community Church, 3003 - 28 Street S.E., with Rev. Dennis Aicken officiating. If friends desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation, 1820 Richmond Road S.W., Calgary, T2T 5C7 or Emmanuel Community Church. Cremation and arrangements are in care of PIERSON'S FUNERAL SERVICE. Telephone: 235-3602.
