Udella and I stopped in for a bit and enjoyed hearing the stories about your mom. I saw Henry and Rebecca on the call for a bit and I know Carla and Marv felt bad about not joining, but Marv is in the hospital again and Carla wanted me to send her best to you all.
There is no one in the world like a "Mom" and we all know you will miss her and at the same time understand that all things come to an end. Continue to enjoy the memories you all have, and those memories make it, so she is not really gone.
Love and Hugs to you and your spouses, partners, children and friends.
Lastly, please visit us if you make it to SE Florida. Udella and I would love to get to spend time with each of you.

I took piano lessons from Adrian weekly since 1998 with only a couple of small gaps over the years. Looking back, she didn´t teach me how to play as much as she taught me how to learn new pieces, realize how I had learned them, and how to quickly bring back pieces I previously learned.
She was adamant that I not waste time memorizing - just keep improving my reading. She also encouraged me in her uniquely tough way when needed, and reminded me that´s it´s the journey that counts, not the destination.
For the first couple of weeks after Adrian passed, it was difficult to sit at the piano without getting upset and distracted.
But after that, I realized I can continue to learn new pieces and bring back old pieces on my own as if she were still listening and commenting. For this, I will be forever grateful!

Adrian was a special person in my life. I only met her 3 years ago. First connection we had was mah Jongg. I would drive with her every Thursday morning and she would not stop talking. Haha but I loved listening. She truly loved everyone in her family. She loved her piano and all the people connected to it. She loved our game and played well. And she honestly loved Jim and appreciated every kind thing he did for her.
Her garden and her knowledge about it was amazing. I will always keep the naked lady bulb she gave me that never bloomed and now I know why. Maybe next year. Adrian , you were so full of life and your memories will always stay with me. Love Carol Schwartz
