Eileen Brown

Loved his 'like a tiger' responses when asked how he was doing. Adrian, our dear classmate of DHS, 1956, always entered and participated in planning our reunions. And there were many. Even our 60th, in the Fall of 2016, he was present for the planning meetings and spoke during our Memorial portion concerning the classmates who had gone before us. He will be missed and forever appreciated.
Joella and family members, sincere condolences to all in this difficult time of loss.
It seems that God surrounded him with lovely, heartened realatives, friends and fellow classmates. What a great gift to have been one among them.
Rest well, dear man of many talents.

I met Adrian through my late husband, Bob Hatfield, who was his classmate. Adrian was a true Renaissance man who could do almost anything that he set his mind to accomplish. He was an expert craftsman and artist. He was also a wonderful friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
With sincere sympathy,
Shelley Hatfield

First met Adrian in sixth grade in Animaaa City. We had just moved to Durango. I was always glad to see him at the reunions and appreciated all the work he did on our class reunions.

HAPPY TRAILS OLD FRIEND. FIFTY YEARS OF MEMORIES! ALL GOOD ONES. I'M HAPPY FOR
YOU, NOW YOU CAN REST. BUT I'M SAD FOR JOELLA, SHE WILL HAVE A HOLE IN HER HEART NOW. I'M SURE SHE WILL MOVE ALONG AS TIME PASSES, THAT'S WHAT WE DO WHEN WE LOSE A LOVED ONE. SHE CAN HOLD ON TO THE MEMORIES OF YOUR YEARS TOGETHER AND THAT'S A GOOD THING.

May the Lord take you through the pearly gates for eternity! My closest relative. My Dad's brother's child. I can remember when they lived in Animas and we went sledding outside of Durango going down the slope and my dad's car was parked at the bottom. Adrian jumped off and I hit the car. I grew up in Duncan, AZ where my father Roy worked in the copper mine at Morenci. We would always go to Durango the last week of July to celebrate my birthday on the 31st and Sedoanya on 30th. Again up to Durango for Thanksgiving. I remember Adrian Sr building the house outside Durango. We met Adrian Sr in Thatcher, AZ when he drove the Fort Lewis Football Bus. Kathy and I spent a week in Pagosa Springs when Adrian and Eunice lived there doing Assessor work and the boys were little. Adrian Sr. came down to AZ while I was working on my masters degree at the U of A and stayed with me after his wife passed in Montana. Our families have always been close. Kathy and I were fortunate to spend time at Parker, AZ last Dec with Adrian and Joella. He enjoyed the square dancing and playing golf. We will miss you, but know your probably dancing and playing golf. With Love Willard and Kathy Wade
