Adrien Kares
With heavy hearts, the family is saddened to announce the passing of Adrien Kares on October 4th, 2014. Adrien was born on June 20th, 1945 to Walter and Mary Uglish, in Prince Albert, SK. Besides being one of the best bakers around, Adrien enjoyed her time working, whether it was as an operator and supervisor with Saskatoon Transit, delivering flowers, working auction sales, or the countless hours she gave as a volunteer. She made friends wherever she went. Adrien is survived by her mother, Mary; son, Fraezor (Debbie) Martina and Cardell; son, Pat (Sharmaine) Kayla (Dustin) and Josh; daughter, Eroca (Fraser) Ashlie (Daniel) Taylor (Shelby) Nathan, Rebecca, Zachary and Brandon. As well as her four great grandsons, Nicholas, Benjamin, Tanner and Gabriel. Adrien was predeceased by her father, Walter; sister, Anne; daughter, Sharon and beloved dog, Teak. A Celebration of Adrien's Life will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 12th, 2014 at Windsor Chapel (704 Windsor Street, Saskatoon SK). For those unable to attend, webcasting will be available at www.windsorchapelsaskatoon.com. If one so chooses, memorial donations may be made to the Saskatoon Cancer Clinic (20 Campus Dr, Saskatoon, SK S7N 4H4) or the SPCA (5028 Clarence Ave, Saskatoon, SK S7T 1A7). Sad to hear that Adrian has passed away. Enjoyed her dry humour and coffee at Tims. She did a lot for Transit and her community. Helped organize the Christmas light tours for years is one example. I had the pleasure of working with her for many years. She will be deeply missed.

Dear, Eroca,Fraser,Pat and kids,
I'm so sorry to hear of Adrien's passing and my heart goes out to all of you. Your mom was a funny lady, a one of a kind, tell it like it is kind of gal but that is why she was loved by so many. Even as I write this a smile comes to me... She was a unique lady with a heart of gold. May your memories of her bring you some comfort. She is with Sharon now catching up on years of stories to tell and gossip of course. RIP Adrien you were a amazing gal.

Dear Eroca and extended family of Adrien:
Adrien was a "work friend." However, even after she had left Saskatoon Transit, she would take time to visit. When I was laid up in hospital, Adrien was my flower courier! She must have arranged to get all her deliveries done first so she could spend some time with me to have a good chat. It was really appreciated. Her super smile and her encouraging words were also one of her trademarks. In sincerity, may your glad memories of Adrien bring you to a place of peace.
