AGAPITO COLLAZO
Age 82 passed away Saturday, May 22, 2010 at his home. He was employed as a Pastor. Survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Sara Collazo; children, Lucy (Antonio) Santiago of Florida, Edwin Collazo of Lake Station, Melvin (Zoraida) Collazo of Portage, Evelyn (Tito) Gomez of Portage, Gerson (Estella) Collazo of Hobart, Nelson (Nikki) Collazo of South Haven, Ruth Collazo of Portage, Ruben (Yanira) Colazo of Portage, Janet (Kenneth) Collazo of Cleveland, OH, Joel (Laarmi) Collazo of Florida; one sister, Cruzita Collazo; and three brothers, Agapito (Pete) Collazo, Luis Collazo, Pascual Collazo; 23 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces; special caretaker, Carmin Rodriguez. The Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 28 DIRECTLY at the Latin Pentecostal Church of God, 3950 Marquetta Rd, Lake Station, IN with Pastor Hermen Perez officiating. Visitation hours will be Thursday, May 27 from 4:00 - 9:00 PM at the church, with service at 7:00 p.m. Interment McCool Cemeteries, Portage, IN. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be greatly appreciated. Burns-Kish Funeral Home, Hammond, IN, 219-932-0260 in charge of arrangements.
