BURKE, Agatha Mary "Aggie"
(nee Schwemler)
Born: December 18, 1917. Died peacefully at her home on June 30, 2015 at the age of 97 years. Beloved wife of Frank (1990). Most dearly loved and amazing mother to Patrick (Joanne), Maureen Walker (Bryan), Sheila (Peter Maughan), Mike (Joanne Dolhanty), Kathy Murphy (Dan), Frank Burke Jr., and Colleen Burke. Grandmother to Laura Bird (Francis), Brendan Burke (Terra), Mark Walker (Sandy), Jennifer Walker (Dave Woollven), Kevin Burke (fiancée Andrea Butler), Heather Burke, Emma Thomas (Fabian), Sarah Bilton (Chris), Erin Murphy (fiancée Peter Bassit), Ryan Murphy, Liam Burke and Rory Burke. Great-grandmother to Ally, Quinn, Emma, Lily, Emmett, Wyatt and Addison. Sister-in-law of Jeanette (Ray) Burke, Marguerite (Peter) Burke, the late Richard and Olive Burke and Cecilia Burke. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Phillip and Margaret (Kohlman) Schwemler, her brothers; Reverend Joseph, Benny (Helen), John (Stella), Phillip (Martha), Albert (Alice), and sisters Mary Schwemler, and Anne (George) Kloster. Dear friend of Norma Huckle, Mollie Cozzola and good neighbours; Erna and Steve, Don and Pauline. Predeceased by dear friends; Betty Rudak, Millie Patrick, Marie Hogan and Arletta Mepham. A very special thank you to Kim, Gabriella and Meighan from Revera Inc., Anne, Velma and Mary from Corpus Christi Church for their weekly visits and to CCAC, Bayshore Nurses, Dr. Cargill and Hospice of Windsor and Essex County. Aggie was an avid bridge player, golfer, bowler, and tennis lover. She will be dearly missed by all. Donation may be made to Schizophrenia Research and Treatment or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada. Visiting Friday 3 - 5, 7 - 9 p.m. Parish and CWL prayers Friday 4:30 p.m. Funeral Saturday 10:30 a.m. from
