I tried leaving a message on the 27th but somehow it got lost. So here we go again. My earliest memory of Agnes and family is nit long after they koved in. After her husband went to work she'd pile all the kids in the car and take them to school. I would often see them returning home from school and doing their homework and chores. Agnes was always there to make sure things got done and was ready for her husband to get home and relax. I always saw her as a faithful homemaker, wide and mother. Through the years as neighbors she would interact with the kids or teenagers that came by their house. She was always a very positive person and would not put up with any nonsense. Her dedication to her family and her church was most notable. In later years when her husband died, she spent a good deal of her time with her youngest son John who had special needs. She was an advocate for him and all his activities. Agnes stayed the course of God's will and family for the duration of her life. Even though all the kids grew up and left home most have good memories of her being faithful and true to God, family and country. I'm glad I knew her. Rest in peace.

I'm so sorry about the passing of your Mom. I really didn't get to know her till the end. My little sister Julie and my 2 brothers Pete and Paul (Enkhorn)
Grew up with her kids and they can tell some stories...or lies.
Anyway I helped Agnes before she went to the retirement home. We solved all the world problems and she gave me many recommendations for Julie's RA while advising me on how to stay healthy. To this day I will not stand in front of the microwave while it's on. She was a very knowledgeable woman and God got himself a keeper. Enjoy your new life Agnes and I will see you again. Prayers to the Donahue's family

Many memories of your mom. Growing up together with all her children your mom often made me part of her family. Through trips to the beach in the station wagon that was packed to the hilt with everything you could possibly need at the beach for 7 kids!
I first learned of the "dashboard confessional" with mother Mary standing alongside every car trip. Devout Catholic she was and never wavered in her faith.
I can still hear her voice asking me " little girl where are your shoes"! Through most of our summers I ran barefoot.
The many trips to the store near stonewood that made fresh baked bread loaves for a quarter!
She was a wonderful bonus mom, neighbor, and friend. Rest in peace Mrs. Donahue.
