Agnes Kaiser

Agnes was also a patron of the Sears Restaurant. She came in a couple of times a week and always looked for her favorite table in the corner. When the restaurant closed in February we lost track of our regular customers and was sorry to read of her passing. Condolences to her family.

Those of us who worked at the Arcadian court restaurant at the Bay store will never forget Agnes, our #1 customer. Some people called her the fish lady as she loved her fish,some called her the soup lady ("and make It hot") All the years I served her she rarely comlained, unless her soup was not hot. She had a great appetite and could polish off 3 courses better than people half her age. She was very alert and could tell If one of us had a new haircut, was feeling down or were tired. I only met her once after they closed down the restaurant and she was headed to Sears, her other haunt. I will remember her fondly. Norma Backway
