Dearest family of Gram's: Sincere sympathies to you all. I so loved Gram too and I feel blessed to have even known her yet to have been loved by her. Her and I's picture from the pink bridal shower sits on our guestroom dresser. She was graceful and fun and witty and wise while being so very dear. I miss you and we will surely miss her.

Agnes Kelly was one of the great generation parents who put their baby-boom kids through Resurrection School in the '50s and then stayed on at her home in the beautiful old neighborhood. This generation, my parents included, had their feet on the ground and, at times, a car parked at the 5-8 Club.
Thanks for the memories, Agnes and all the Res parents; very well done. Amen.

Though I never knew Mrs. Kelly, I have had the great pleasure of befriending some of her posterity (children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren), and am thus well aware that her legacy is a treasured one.

Aunt Agnes was one of the loveliest women I've ever known--gentle, warm-hearted, inclusive and so loving. What a gift she was to all of us Kellys.

Mrs. Kelly was a classy, gentle, thoughtful lady. If you were a friend of a member of her family, you were a friend of hers. Whenever I visited the Kelly home, she made me feel most welcome.
