Agnes Kissell Obituary
Age 98 1/2, peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 17, 2009, of the Blackridge Community of Wilkinsburg. Wife of the late Dr. DeWitt "Wick" Kissell; beloved mother of Fred Kissell of Glenshaw, Grace Kissell of Hawaii and David Kissell of Wilkinsburg. Preceded in death by two sisters and a brother. Cherished grandmother of Noah Kissell of Raleigh, NC. Agnes had a passion for reading a good murder mystery, she loved her friends at the Wilkinsburg Public Library and she loved the symphony and opera. She developed many friendships through her enjoyment of playing bridge. One of the great blessings in her life was the love she shared with her devoted husband Wick. A special thanks to Dr. Ho and his staff. If there is a Heaven we fervently hope that chocolates and baked goods are waiting for her. Friends received WOLFE MEMORIAL INC., Forest Hills Chapel, 3604 Greensburg Pike 412-731-5001 Saturday April 25, 2009 10am until time of Memorial Service at 10:30 am. Contributions may be made to Wilkinsburg Public Library, 605 Ross Ave. Wilkinsburg, PA 15221.

Anyese, you are a treasure: A gentle woman with a whimsical nature, welcoming style, and delicious sense of humor. Even in our last visit you were cracking jokes--awake to the fun of life and the invitation not to take it all so seriously. A pretty good teacher, you. I am so sorry to hear of Miss Agnes's passing. I think I only met her once but what a wonderful women. I always remember Brenda bringing her Oakmont bakery goodies and letting her have them for dinner. She will be missed.
