It is with grieving hearts that the family of Agnes (Berta) Magnus, 98,of Sewickley, announces her passing on Tues., Feb. 17, 2009. Wife of the late Joseph J. Magnus; beloved mother of Dr. Eugene Magnus, Carole (Chester) Giacomino and the late Jerry Magnus; loving sister of Regina McCaleb, Cordelia Thompson, Anne Racko, Dolores Szirmae and the late Theresa Kelley, Marcela Wirebaugh, Julius Berta, Mary McKay, Donald (Jack D.) Berta, Ronald Berta and James Berta; proud grandmother of Gary (Tracy King) Magnus, Rick Magnus, Debbie Magnus, Renee (Sam) Cole, Tracy (Jay Kranich) Magnus, Douglas (Sandy Lentz) Magnus, Carla Galisin, Michael (Trina) Galisin, Lisa (Steve) Berger; great grandmother of 7, great great grandmother of one. Member of St. James Church and the original Women's Guild of St. Margaret Mary Church. Visitation Friday, Feb. 20, 2-4 and 6-8 at COPELAND'S SEWICKLEY, 702 Beaver St. with prayer on Sat., Feb. 21 at 9:30 followed by Mass at St. James Church at 10:00. www.copelandfuneralhomes.com
