Agnes Seisa Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 21, 2011.
Agnes Fe Espiritu Seisa • October 20, 1964 - November 21, 2011 • Having recently celebrated her 47th birthday, Agnes peacefully passed away after a short but aggressive battle with adenocarcinoma, lung cancer stage 4, which was diagnosed only weeks earlier on October 28. Agnes was born in 1964 at Luke's Hospital in San Francisco to Jaime "Jimmy" Narvas Espiritu, Sr. (deceased) and Virginia Paz. The youngest of two children, Agnes and her brother, Jaime Espiritu, Jr., grew up in San Francisco's Ingleside District and Daly City's Southern Hills District. She graduated from Balboa High School in 1982. Agnes worked as an Administrative Assistant at various law firms, but her real passion was sewing and fashion. She ultimately pursued a new dream as a "Domestic Engineer" and "Homeschool Mom/Teacher," when she homeschooled her two oldest daughters through high school (which was rare among her peers during that time). Her youngest child has been attending a local elementary school. Agnes met her husband of 21 years, Dennis Seisa, while attending Faith Bible Church of San Francisco. They married on Flag Day, June 14, 1989, in San Francisco. They lived in Daly City for 10 years, where they reared their two daughters at the time, then later moved to Sacramento. Agnes touched the lives of many people with her tender heart, listening ear and quiet strength. She believed that each and every person she met was the greatest miracle in the world. She maintained an attitude of gratitude and taught others to expect a miracle everyday up until the very end. She was the beloved mother of Desiree Alison (19), Liana Lauren (17), Evan Espiritu (who died at 9 days of Osteogenesis Imperfecta aka OI or Brittle Bone Disease in 2003) and Samantha Joy (6). Agnes and Dennis adopted their children's friends into their home, along with the numerous nephews and nieces they already have. She is survived by a houseful of young people. Her legacy is to love and place God first among all things in spite of life's trials and hardships, because it is only through Him that life truly abounds. Another legacy she left is helping raise godly leaders. Funeral Services will be held Dec 1-3, 2011 at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park in Colma. Please visit agneseseisa.blogspot.com for more information.
