Agnes Williamson (née Hartsfield), 90, passed away on January 25, 2025, in New Haven, Connecticut.

Born on August 26, 1934, in Hazlehurst, Georgia, Agnes was the daughter of Johnnie Mae and Hubert Hartsfield. She grew up in Connecticut and graduated from Ansonia High School before embarking on a career in healthcare. She earned her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification from and briefly worked at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Later, she transitioned to the Veterans Administration Medical Center in West Haven, Connecticut, where she worked as a pharmacy technician and purchasing agent until her retirement in 1995.

Agnes found joy in traveling-especially on cruises-bowling, reading, playing bocce, solving number puzzles, and caring for her beloved pets. She was a devoted mother, sister, and friend who touched many lives with her kindness and warmth.

She is survived by her sons James E. Beady Jr., Robert C. Beady, and Jon H. Beady (Andréa); daughter Andrea Chrys Alexander (Jay); sisters Regina Williams, Rosalyn "Kandy" Williams, and Robin Mooring (Ralph); grandchildren Joseph, Dayna, and Dianna Beady; one niece and five nephews; and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; her daughter Donna L. (Beady) Kee; and her daughter-in-law Sylvia Beady.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christian Love Center, 154 Derby Avenue, New Haven, Connecticut. A memorial gathering will follow from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.

Agnes's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
