I had the honor and pleasure to know my dear friend Ahmed at U Mass- Amherst. he was a wonderful man.

It is hard for me to believe that my dearest friend Ahmed with whom I shared so much at the University of Massachusetts and elsewhere has passed away.
My prayers and my thoughts go to his lovely family and may my prayers bring to them comfort in this time of deep sorrow.
You lost a great husband and a great father and I lost a dear friend.
Sorry for not being close geographically (Paris) to help you through these difficult times but my heart is with you and I hope you find the courage to overcome.
