Ben had always shared the wonderful stories that he heard about your family.(from you in class)
I think that memories are the gift that God gives us. When the ones we love so much go home to our father, he gives us the memories to keep here with us forever. If you need anything at all, please know we are here. We will keep your family in our prayers always.

Julie and Family, Please know that your Dad, husband, son-in-law, friend was also a very special guy to me. I knew Ainslie well in high school and think so highly of him as a person. He was always funny, quick whited, athletic, smart and kind. I am so sorry his time with all of us-especially all of you was cut so short. It just isn't fair! You will be in my thoughts as the days and months go on. I hope Ainslie's great spirit lives in each of you. He was a gift. God bless all of you. Tracy Doster Welch

Julie, AJ and Trueman-I am so sorry for your loss and we are praying for peace and serenity to fill your hearts and minds as you grieve Ainslie's passing. One day at a time please know that you are not alone, we are here for anything you may need. I am thinking of Ainslie on the ice, smelling the freash air of the rink just as he is about to take off into the fresh breeze, in that moment where just before the dash there is freedom and no pain. That is how I will always remember him, as a friend, full of life and energy and jokes and fun. On the ice ready to go. Prayers to you all. The McCarthy Family

AJ and Truman,

I am so sorry for your loss. Your Dad was so proud of you. On my last day working at FIrst Data, he brought over some photos of you that he kept on his desk and told me lots of stories about you. I could certainly tell that he was very proud of his sons. Your Dad was a good man. Remember that even though he can not be with you here on Earth, he will be with you in your hearts forever.

I had the privilege of teaching Ainslie science, more years ago than I want to admit. It was, indeed, a privilege. I am so sorry for your loss, and, while there are no words that can truly speak to a time such as this, know that I am here for you, as he is in my memory.

Julie, AJ and Trueman (and Julie to your amazing family who has reached out to us at this time to help us know and understand)-WOW. What a family you must all be. I am sad to not really know you. What love Ainslie must have had. Wow. I am so sorry for your loss, you are all in my families thoughts and prayers. It will take One Day at a Time to find peace through this time. I want to offer to you and yours anything we can from Annapolis Maryland at this time. My deepest hope is that Ainslie is at peace(and I know he is) and that you all will find comfort in his love, and the prayers and thoughts of those who loved him. Ainslie and I shared the rink ice many a day.....and I am thinking of him with the wind in his hair, with that peace you have when you smell the ice rink ice and you breath in the cool crisp fresh untainted air and start to move freely with ease and no pain. God Bless you all at this time and always. The McCarthy Family

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is over.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Dear Julie, AJ and Truman,

We have only known AJ and Truman for short time. How nicely kids are raised is a great indication of the love the parents have given them and it is obvious that Ainslie and you have done a wonderful job. Your family are in our prayers.

I was a coworker with Ainslee for a short time @ First Data. Although I did not know him long, I do know that he was a very friendly and caring person, and would take the time to help a team mate whenever he could. He had a great sense of humor and will be missed by all. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
