I met Al and Cathy in Summer of 2022 when they had moved to Glen Cove. I recognized his voice right away; a total legend. Our puppies Lola and Pepper became inseparable with their daily rumbles. He was full of life and always had the best stories. You will be missed by so many friends, family and fans. May his memory be a blessing. All my love to the family during this difficult time.

So sad to hear of his passing. What a wonderful engaging broadcaster. Sympathies and prayers to his entire family. His legacy will live on, Hall of Famer for sure.

45yrs ago a young man came into my life. He had a gift. That gift was talent I´d never seen before. In those 45yrs I have never worked with anyone who could match his brilliance. And a personality to match. My everlasting love to his wife Cathy, son Alex, sister-in-law Janet and all those blessed and humbled to know such an extraordinary human being.
