The first time I spoke to Almo was at the radio station WROS Jacksonville fl. He called to speak to my boss Elwyn Hall an his good friend. His deep voice made the phone call exciting for me. We chatted a little an got to be friends through talking on the phone an social media. He was a wonderful person an Elwyn would go to Nashville to spend time with him. Sorry I never got to meet him in person. My condolences to the family because I just read about his passing. He will be missed... Frann Massey

I have more than a few John Prine tee shirts ( like, 20 maybe). We were at a gas station in Mt Juliet TN and the guy next to me noticed and said he had just interviewed JP and I could replay it on Outlaw Country. Needless to say it was Alamo gassing up - well getting gassed up maybe - wish I had talked more with him. He and Mojo were the main reason I kept a Sirius subscription. RIP.

My husband and I were taken aback when we turned to Outlaw Country this past Saturday and heard Parker talking about Mr. Jones death. Heartbroken. We loved his show and tried our best to imitate his "Outlaw Country" intro. Loved his stories, his sense of humor and his diverse taste in country music. Thank you to the Jones family for sharing this wonderful man with all of us. Please know his show got us through some tough times in our life and for that we are two very grateful fans.
