Dear Family....

I was out of town and just learned recently of Alan's passing. Alan was always a happy fellow with a smile and a kind word. My memories of him are all special and, as happens at times like these, I wish I had spent more time with him. Life passes so quickly and we all are so busy that the ones we think will always be there, too quickly are gone.

My condolances to all the family. May your memories give you comfort.

We will miss the familiar site of Alan watering the plants, walking his dog, or just sitting on the front porch and waving as we drove by.. It was always a comfort to know Alan was watching our home and the neighborhood. Alan, you will be missed and remembered. Bernie and family, you are in our prayers and thoughts. Dad, I love you and I know you are in a better place now. I know that you get to see your loved ones that you have lost in your earlier years of your life. I now know how you felt when your father passed away at such a premature age. It's very heartbreaking dad. I don't know how you did it. I know you don't like to see me cry, but I can't help it. Just know that I miss you and I will take care of Mom. Please watch over us and tell everyone up that there that I said hello. -Scooter
