Alan D. Hinckley, age 58, a lifelong resident of Arlington, died May 28, 2010, at the Shaughnessy Kaplan Rehabilitation Hospital in Salem following a lengthy illness. Born in Cambridge; he was the son of the late Frank H. and Sarah W. (Paterson) Hinckley. Mr. Hinckley is survived by a sister Ann L. Hinckley of Nashua, N.H. and two brothers, Bruce Hinckley and his wife Mary of Derry, N.H. and Frank Hinckley and his wife Judy of Chelmsford. He was the uncle of Franki Ann Descoteaux of N.H., Jennifer Moyers of Texas, Jodi Carrigg of Massachusetts, and Kevin Hinckley of Minnesota, and the great uncle of Cameron Descoteaux , Dylan Carrigg and Kendall Carrigg. A funeral service will be held at Bigelow Chapel followed by interment at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, 580 Mt. Auburn St., Cambridge on Friday, June 4, 2010 at 11 a.m.
