AGE: 75 • Milltown
Alan Hodgson of Milltown, NJ passed away May 7, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ. He was 75 years old. Born in Blackburn, England, he moved to the USA in 1969 and was a Milltown resident for over 41 years. Alan was employed by the BBC and CBS as a television engineer. He was an avid fan of the Metropolitan Opera, fine wine and dining, travel and cruising, and the NY Mets. His most precious time was spent with his beloved grandchildren. Alan is survived by his loving wife Janice (née Hart); sons and daughters-in-law: Christopher and Amanda Hodgson and Michael and Lisa Hodgson; grandchildren: Gavin, Monica, Samuel, and Sienna; and a large, loving extended family and cherished friends. The family will greet friends Thursday 5-8pm at the Bronson & Guthlein Funeral Home of Milltown. Funeral service Thursday at 7:30pm. Final disposition is private. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123. www.bronsonandguthleinfh.com
