Dear Sharon, Pam and Robyn, we'd like to share our deepest condolences with you on the passing of your father. It was a privilege having known him with his deep knowledge of family history and his gentle manner. We so enjoyed touring with him together at the sights where our family was formed in Romania. May time bring you sollace.

Dear Sharon, Pam, and Robyn and family members,
Al was one of the most understanding and dearest friends a person could hope to have in a lifetime. He gave me hope and courage during difficult times. His easy going manner and happy smile made the darkest day brighten. I will miss your Alan, Sharon, and your dad, Pam and Robyn. He was an amazing person in a multitude of ways. His memories will live on in all of our hearts.
With love and prayers of comfort,
Ferne

I worked with Al at JWRC during the 80's. We learned a lot about computers with the TRS-80 models we bought off the back of a truck in St. Pete. Al was my best man when I married the love of my life before moving to New Orleans. We remained close friends, but unfortunately, at long distances over the past 25 years. Al and Sharon are the gold standard for genuine friends. Our prayers are with you both forever.

Dear Sharon, Pam and Robyn, my heart goes out to you. I have a lot of great memories of Al. He is really the only other dad besides my own that I remember being involved in chaperoning and other activities through elementary and ELP trips. I am glad I got to know him. Sincerely Lacey

I worked with Al from the mid-1960s at JWRC and continued the friendship after I moved to the Tampa headquarters. Al enjoyed the Lunch Bunch meetings arriving in his Porsche--sports model....top down. When his kidney problems began he could no longer be with his old buddies at lunches due to dialysis requirements. Bernice and I send our best wishes to Sharon who cared for Al unselfishly in his last few years.
We loved you Alfie; Godspeed in your next assignment--I know that you'll make it into something you really enjoy!
