Alan P. Pollard

I remember Alan fondly. When I was a library school student and a support staff member at Firestone Library, Alan agreed to be my mentor for an independent study on Russian collection development. Alan was very kind to me when I worked at Princeton and spent a lot of time talking to me about the profession and what I needed to do in order to have a job in the Slavic library profession. My condolences to Sarah and the Pollard family.
