To the Ryan family: I have very fond memories of your dad, growing up next door. He helped Skip coach my baseball team and called me "Stonewall Pollock"...I was the catcher. Deepest sympathies and warmest regards to Laurie, Kathy, Skip, Buffy (Allison) and Layne.

To the Ryan Family...
I just learned of your Dads passing and wanted to send my condolences ...My early years with my best friend Sondra left me with unanswered questions but having your family near while I was growing up helped my healing over her loss...Your Dad seemed to understand that and often gave me kind words which helped with the healing processes...I think of your family often...Fond wishes and memories...Lynne “Pollock” Denson

ITS SO HARD TO LOOSE YOU
BUT I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO SAY GOODBYE.
WE HAVE SO MANY MEMORIES THAT I WILL ALWAYS KEEP INSIDE.
YOU'RE ALWAYS IN MY HEART, THIS I KNOW IS TRUE.
& I KNOW YOU'LL ALWAYS BE WITH ME, EVEN THOUGH I CAN'T SEE YOU.
SOMETIMES I WONDER WHY? BUT THEN I SECOND GUESS, YOU ARE IN A BETTER PLACE, UP THERE WITH THE BEST.
YOU WERE MY GRANDPA, MY FRIEND, SOMEONE WHO REALLY CARED & EVERYDAY I THANK GOD FOR THE DAYS I HAD YOU THERE.
MEMORIES OF YOU WILL NEVER FADE, I CLOSE MY EYES AND REMEMBER THE DAYS.
SQUISHING GRAPES, WHOOPIE PICKLE, UN-NESSECARY HAIR-CUTS AND FRUGAL FRAMER ARE ALL SOME OF THE THINGS I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER.
BUT NOW IS THE TIME TO SAY GOODBYE, JUST REMEMBER I WILL SEE YOU ANOTHER TIME.
Just a little something I wrote for my grandpa. He is greatly missed by many, especially me

To the Ryan Family,
I thought you may all like to know how much Alan Ryan is missed by a group of people that played trivia with a man known as Gopherbroke2, who became our friend known as the wasklly wodent. What a nice man to have in your lives. Many people have warm memories and funny stories about him. God bless.

Pam and Family - Please accept my deepest sympathies. This past summer I had the pleasure of spending some time speaking with Alan at the D&H open house. Al had brought several copies of his book "Rouses Point As You Were" and we reminisced at length. It had been over 50 years since we'd seen each other but it seemed like yesterday. He was always a true Rouses Pointer at heart. He left we Rouses Pointers a legacy with his book and we will forever be grateful to him. Keep his memory alive.
