ALAN STANIFORTH

Great man with whom we didn't get to spend as much time with as we wish we could have.

Alan was our son' father-in-law. He was larger than life. So much fun and so welcoming to us. We loved his sense of humor and we miss him every day.

No one like him...
You are missed, dear Bub.

Alan was a unique individual. We lost him to soon. We wish that we could have had the privilege of becoming part of his extended family much earlier. A good man who had become a good friend. RIP

Alan was one of a kind. We only knew him for too short a time, but we loved him dearly. He is still in our hearts and prayers.

Still miss you Alan, and your interesting point of view. As yet no post cards received. Hope your journey is wonderful.

Alan was truly a great and generous person. We met in August-1969 and have kept in contact since.

Shelley and family... I used to work at the Red Lion Hotel/Crowne Plaza in San Diego. Mr.Staniforth was one of my favorite guests in all the 12 years I worked there. He told me so much about you and his kids and was so very proud. He gave me beautiful words of advice when I was going through a tough time... and he could always make me laugh. It broke my heart to hear of his passing... I always considered him to be the Ultimate Free Spirit... I wish you strength in this tough time and happy memories... My happy memories are many...

Shelley....I have been praying for you and the family since I heard of Alan's passing last week, while we are traveling on vacation. I count it a joy to have known Alan and had the privilege to be his employer....his hard work ethic and detail attitude was always appreciated. Our success with the Navy project was due to our teamwork and hard work together. I miss working with him.
I am glad I will be back for his celebration of life. God bless you and the family....

I am sorry that I did not have the privilege of knowing your spectacular husband who lit the world up. I can only imagine the wonderful companion and compliment to you that he has been. I am so sorry for your great loss. I pray that God will comfort you and be merciful to you as you walk through this chapter of Grief. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. My wife and I are better for having spent even a small amount of time with Alan. We are influenced more by what he has done in his life.....His family. They are proof positive that Alan's contribution to us was indeed great.

Our love and prayers go out to the family and friends who will miss Alan so much! May they find peace and comfort in knowing his suffering has ended and he is enjoying himself immensely telling his wonderful stories to his Heavenly Father! With love, John and Sherry D'Attile
