Alan and Betty always opened their heart and home in Mclean and Gainesville to me. I will be forever grateful for the love that they shared.

Marti and I had were fortunate to live across the street from Alan and Betty for many years during their stay in Gainesville, Fl. Welcoming, and very hospitable to everyone, Alan was the Mr. Friendly and the ultimate host to whoever would pass his house while he was working on his car or whatever he was doing in his garage. He and Betty were kind to us, our children and even had Marti's Mom for dinner.We were saddened by Alan and Betty's quick departure from Gainesville and were sorry to hear of Alan's passing.
