Dear Aunt Jane, Glo, Ray, Michael and Christine and family. I was devastated to hear of the news about uncle Al. Of all the uncles I had, he was the one I felt closest to. He was a wonderful man and he will be fondly remembered by Katy and I. I thought of you all this week and wishing I could have been there with you all. Know that you have been in my thoughts and he is now with Mom and Dad dancing in Heaven. I miss you and love you all very much. Will continue to pray for you during this difficult time.
Jeff and Katy,

I remember how honored Abby Chasse was to have her grandfather at her wedding. He clearly must have been an amazing man for her to be so incredibly moved by his presence. Dottie Perham-Whittier

I will never forget the stories and smiles. He loved us like his own. If it was prayer group Wednesdays, holiday parties or the delivery of what seemed like endless potatoes - we were truly blessed to have "Grandpa Al" in our life. Everything he did was so true and giving. I find great cofort in these memories - to know that I was lucky enough for him to spend time - teaching, sharing and giving. I - like all of us - have the charge of sharing these memories. Carter will know Grandpa Al.

He is greatly missed; I am with a heavy heart. Love and prayers to the family - my beloved 2nd family.

Love you all and wish I could be there to celebrate his life.

Watch over us.

The number of lives Uncle "Puss" had touched is remarkable. He was a model for what a parent, grandparent, uncle and friend should be. I believe he is looking down on us with a smile knowing how much a part of all of our lives he was. Myself and my family will miss him.

My prayers go out to the family and friends who mourn this wonderful man.

Dear Aunt Jane & family,
I am deeply saddened by this news.
What a superb uncle he was!
As a child I admired him so much.
To me he was a "man's man"!
I always hated when my visit ended and I had to return home.
I hope you find comfort in knowing that he made a profound impact on me as a boy. For I never had to guess whether he loved the Lord or not. It was evident he walked the walk.
Thanks Uncle Al for your examples...I was watching and taking note.
I never got to thank you for your honorable service to God & country.
So from one veteran to another many Thanks. In my book you were and are a tried and true hero!!
I will miss you tremendously.
Rest well you have fought the good fight!
Love you always

To a great father-in-law who enjoyed his family, holiday gatherings and birthdays (ice cream) and the kids. I will always cherish our fishing trips to Eagle Lake, summers and winter ice fishing. You were the best, rest in peace, and teach St. Peter how to fish; he was a lousy fisherman.
We will all miss you dearly... love always,
Ray
