Mr Albert Bennett, of Brimington, has passed away at Whittington Care Home, aged 81.Born in Sheepbridge and a life-long resident of the local area, he was a coal miner at No2 Colliery Markham all his working life.He was an avid supporter of Derby County Football Club, a member of Brimington Club and loved spending time whith his family.The husband of the late Margaret and father of the late David and Malcolm, he leaves sons Jimmy, Alan, Ian and daughter Susan, 15 grandchildren and an extended family.For funeral details please contact funeral directors: Wetton Funeral Service, 15 Ringwood Road, Brimington, Chesterfield (01246 232966).
