Albert Castaneda III Obituary
Albert attended the McAllen Public School District and graduated from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley with a bachelor's degree in public relations. Albert was an entrepreneur.
Albert is preceded in death by his brother, Scotty Joe Castaneda, paternal grandparents, Albert Castaneda Jr., and Maria Elena Castaneda, and maternal grandparents, Jose Maria Martinez and Hilaria Moreno Martinez. Also, preceded in death by his uncles, Ray Castaneda, Daniel Martinez, Jose Maria Martinez, Jr. and several cousins.
Albert is survived by his wife, Dina Estrella Castaneda, Albert's mother, Noemi Martinez, brother, Joshua Jared Ochoa (Isabel Schroeder) and sister Melissa Reyes Ochoa (Rudy Ochoa). Aunts, Belinda Castaneda (San Antonio), Ester Martinez Ramirez (Loui Ramirez), (Michigan), Aida Martinez Salinas (Rudy Salinas), Mary Elizabeth Bernal, (Bernie Bernal) Rosie Martinez Escalon, (Former Sheriff, Henry Escalon), Uncles, Noe Martinez (Yolanda Martinez), Rene Castaneda (Jackie Castaneda), and Danny Castaneda (Sonia Castaneda). Albert had numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
Mother-in-law, Gabriela Estrella, brother-in-law, Omar Estrella (Rocio Estrella), Sisters in Law, Sara Lusk, (Dale Lusk), Lidia Ibarra (Oscar Ibarra) several nephews and nieces.
A Memorial Service (Celebration of Life) will be held on Friday, October 27th, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Baptist Temple 2001 Trenton Rd. McAllen, Texas. Officiating service is Pastor Chris DuPree. Flowers can be sent to Baptist Temple.
The family of Albert Castaneda wishes to extend our sincere thanks to lifetime friend, Lisa Lozano Delucchi and Debbie Acevedo, Dr. Cindy Salinas (cousin), Stephen Palmer (childhood friend) and Polo and Veronica Sandoval. Hospital Staff at Spring Valley Medical Center, Las Vegas, Nevada numerous family, friends, and other relatives.

We are all saddened by this horrible news it still feels like dream u were such a great person and a great friend. We are all heart broken about this. U were like another brother to is my grandparents love u like if u were their grandson my brother Alberto Garcia is really upset about losing u. You were his best friend. We will truly miss u Albert u were one of a kind rest easy my friend we love u Albert may u rip. My condolences goes out to your family and your wife

Noemi and Manuel my deepest condolences. It saddens me for the loss of Albert, he had a sweet spirit and I wish I had continued to keep in touch with him. I have good memories with him when we sat together at church and conversed about so many things. I will cherish that time and I thank God for allowing me to get to know him.

My deepest condolences to the Castaneda family! I´ve known Albert since middle school . He was always quick with a joke. I saw Albert 4 months ago at a local restaurant. We spoke and caught up on life.
Still he was making jokes ! I can´t forget the hair clip he had pulling back his love of locks! He will be greatly missed.
My prayers for everyone who is dealing with such a loss. God is faithful and we must trust in his plans, even though we may not understand them.
