We came to know Al through his many years of volunteering with Victim Assistance. He went about his work quietly, with great wisdom and care. We so enjoyed hearing Al's stories of early life in Burnaby, war time, and his racetrack adventures. What a sense of humour! He will be truly missed by all those who were lucky enough to have been able to count Al as a friend.
Sincerely,
Debbie and Howard Walden

To The Cote Family and Jo,
I have so much enjoyed having Al and a neighbour and friend over the past nine years I have lived at The Victoria. Al was a man who thought carefully before he spoke. He often shared his wisdom in an encouraging way. He will be missed.
Regards, NIta Townsend
