Dearest Beverly and family members, I was saddened to hear of Al's passing. He was there with me from the beginning of my professional career almost 30 years ago. He made such an impact on so many lives. May God bring you all comfort during this difficult time.

Mary and I were greatly sadened and shocked to learn of Al's passing.

Please take comfort in knowing that our Lord and Savior, Jesus Crist is with you and your family during this time.

My deepest condolences. Al was a true inspiration to those of us who followed him into service at the Department of Juvenile Justice. His evenhanded and thoughtful approach to caring for at-risk youth will be remembered by so many.

I am sorry I could not attend the service for Al as I was out of town. We went to high school together and worked together at Clark County. I have many fond memories of Al. He was a wonderful person who deeply cared about everyone and was passionate about making the world a better place, especially for the children he protected. Beverly and Family, I worked with Al at DJJS from 1991 until his retiremnet. He had a great eye for talent. He recognized and acknowledged my skills and commitment to the youth as a part-time employee. Due to his position and vision for DJJS, he played a significant role in me becoming a full time employee and instituting valuable programs to the youth in our care. Al was an Angel on earth and I trust that he is now a Guardian Angel to all the people he leaves behind. God Bless You!
