Al was a fun loving and generous man that I had the pleasure of getting to know through working at The Techs (MetalTech). He will be missed. My condolences to you all.

I will always remember Al for his smile and his great sense of humor. He became president of the ASD at a time when its demise was imminent and turned it into a viable association; much like he did in all his business ventures.I was proud to serve on his board. Another J&L er who really starred in the steel business. Al will be missed.
