I had the honor of attending your funeral, Al. As I heard the story of your life laid out before me I was overwhelmed with your love for the people around you. They shared about the ways you loved them... inviting them into your home, making phone calls, praying, giving away magazines and books. Al... now I realize that for so long you were looking for a way to invest in my life. I missed it. More than that, I feel like I treat God the same way that I treated you... a great friend who loves me and I don't really make the time for. Thank you so much for loving me in life and for showing me what it means to be loved by God in your death. I hope to live a life as rich and meaningful as yours... and to reflect Christ to others as you did to me.

I want to thank you for the kind thoughts. We are praising God that we know our Dad is with His Jesus and also enjoying a great reunion with his wife and family in Heaven.

My condolences to the Holsinger family on the loss of your father. I as a former neighbor admired a family who truly served and followed in God's teachings. Al is now in his heavenly home with the Lord and reunited with his sweet wife, Dorothy.
May God's blessings and healing be with all of you at this time of sorrow.

It was a honor to have met Al. His sweet spirit will be truly remembered as well the twinkle in his eye.

Al has gone to be with the love of his life and the God he served so faithfully. He was a very special friend of 35 years. We miss him and look forward to seeing him again when we are together in Heaven.

Please allow me to agree with the loving description of your father's life, a quiet servant and supporter of the Lord's work and fellow believers. Both of your parents always had kind words to share. Blessings to you all.
