Dear Al, I never got to meet you, but your amazing talent and great energy meant a lot to me on your recordings with your brother Greg. I was disheartened to hear of your passing. My condolences go out to your family and loved ones. May God Bless, and continue to watch over them. Love, David

I met Al in back in the late 90's and had the pleasure of hanging out with both him and Greg at their place in Easton. He was one of the funniest and coolest guys on the planet. Both he and Greg were a huge influence on me musically. It was great seeing guys that looked like me with so much talent. I still tell stories about him to this day. So sorry to hear that he passed away.

I did not know Al very well but he was a great friend to my daughter, Stephanie Fazekas. In the beginning of their friendship they both struggled with substance abuse. Stephanie found her way and for a time I know Al did also. I was at her home when he visited as she was going through her cancer journey and he was quite a comfort to her. They both had found the Lord Jesus. She was very distressed when she lost contact with him and sadly passed away without knowing what had become of him. My prayers for comfort for his family. I was also privleged to care for Millie when she was at Gracedale and found her to be just the kindest, sweetest lady. Be blessed as you move forward with fond memories.

I am so sorry to hear that Al is gone. I'm stunned. I knew him through music and I remember him as a remarkable talent and full of kindness. And he had that easy smile. I followed much of his music but burned in my memory was when he and Greg would call their band "Full Blues Jacket" and go play at a small bar in Easton. They did side 2 of The Beatles "Abbey Road" and it was astonishing and just so damned cool. Al was so damned cool. My condolences to all of his family and friends.

There was a time Al was backstage at a show I was with the opening act..I was still holding my guitar and Al got me coming up with Riffs and started singing and creating incredible lines to everything i came up with.. We were both highly diggin it so much that he did come to my studio one time.. Unfortunately that was the last time i saw him.. He was kind, He was like a light in the room..RIP Al.. ill forever remember him and that time we shared in this life.
