HAIBECK _ John Telford Carl (Todd) John Telford Carl (Todd) Haibeck passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, June 26, 2002 at the age of 84. He was being cared for at the time in the palliative care unit of Rockyview Hospital in Calgary, Alberta following a lengthy illness. Todd was born in Lethbridge, Alberta and raised his family there. He also built several successful southern Alberta businesses, including General Farm Supplies and Haico Manufacturing Ltd., makers of recreational trailers, campers and motorhomes. In 1971, he was inducted as an Honorary Chief (Eagle Head) in the Blood Indian Tribe. He is survived by his wife Blanche; daughters, Sue and Barb; sons, John and Tom; and six grandchildren.
