Crystal, I'm so very sorry for your loss of Albert. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. The funeral was a fine tribute to him and the many photographs brought back lots of memories of the 70's on Burton Avenue. May the memories of your father bring you comfort in times of sorrow Crystal.
In deepest sympathy,
Patti Pinkerton Chapman

Barney,
I first met your Dad while we were working together at the Bibb County Maintenance shop in the early 70's. Albert was one of the finest mechanics I have ever known and he was so good about showing me anything I wanted to learn. During breaks around the shop I used to love to hear Albert's stories about his life and his rather unusual philospphy on life in general. In later years Albert and I rode our motorcycles together a lot and we would often run into each other at various motorcycle events. Long ago Albert convinced me that BMW motorcycles were great machines. Just last year I ran into him at Blue Moon Cycles in Norcross where there was a BMW motorcycle swap meet and open house going on. We talked for a long time about the old times and he brought me up to speed on recent events. I will miss my old buddy Albert and I am sure you will too. He was certainly a fine man. Rest in peace Albert and enjoy that heavenly "beemer" ride.
